第四屆中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展將于2009年10月在中國(guó)杭州舉辦，本屆展覽將征集來(lái)自全世界的優(yōu)秀海報(bào)作品，向人們展示21世紀(jì)國(guó)際海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)的狀況。自2003年起，中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展已成功舉辦三屆，雙年展受到了國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)界以及其他社會(huì)階層的矚目，為國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)界和設(shè)計(jì)教育提供了一個(gè)專業(yè)交流的平臺(tái)。作為國(guó)際的知名藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)教育機(jī)構(gòu)，中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院致力于中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展的組織工作，推動(dòng)了國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)的發(fā)展，繁榮了平面設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域的創(chuàng)作。中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展是中華人民共和國(guó)文化部批準(zhǔn)的文化交流項(xiàng)目和中國(guó)杭州2009西湖博覽會(huì)正式項(xiàng)目，也是國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域?qū)W術(shù)水平最高的海報(bào)展覽之一。本屆雙年展邀請(qǐng)了國(guó)際杰出的平面藝術(shù)家組成評(píng)審團(tuán)，將嚴(yán)格按照國(guó)際慣例評(píng)選作品。此外中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展作為國(guó)家級(jí)專業(yè)交流活動(dòng)，將以更高的要求組織雙年展的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，將中國(guó)設(shè)計(jì)最高水準(zhǔn)的展覽展示于世界。

1. 第四屆海報(bào)雙年展參賽作品必須是2007年6月15日后設(shè)計(jì)創(chuàng)作的作品，海報(bào)應(yīng)由膠版印刷或絲網(wǎng)印刷完成。彩色噴墨作品謝絕遞交。
2. 作品尺寸：不小于36.4cmX51.5cm；不大于120cmX180cm。
3. 參賽背簽都必須以正楷體或印刷體填寫，貼于作品背面右下角（背簽可復(fù)?。?。
4. 參賽表格須密封裝入信封內(nèi)，隨作品一同寄往組委會(huì)。 參賽表格須以正楷體或印刷體填寫。表格填寫模糊者將被取消參賽資格。作品一旦入選展覽，參賽表格的個(gè)人信息將成為《2009第四屆中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展作品集》的寶貴資料。參賽表格必須由參賽本人親筆簽名。
5. 參賽作品數(shù)量不限，系列作品按單件計(jì)。
6. 每件參賽的作品一式二份，無(wú)須裝裱。
7. 每件參賽作品必須隨函附電子文件，電子文件要求：文件用Mac或者PC平臺(tái)系統(tǒng)刻錄到CD-ROM里隨函提交。電子文件技術(shù)參數(shù)：作品幅面A4，精度350dpi，文件格式：TIFF的CMYK 印刷格式（以其它格式提交者將不被接受）。
8. 為了避免參賽作品在郵寄途中遭損壞，建議采取安全包裝方法。組委會(huì)對(duì)在郵寄途中遭到損壞的作品概不負(fù)責(zé)。
9. 所有參賽作品都必須以"無(wú)商業(yè)價(jià)值印刷品"的形式寄達(dá)。組委會(huì)將不接受任何在郵寄稅證或郵寄發(fā)票中寫入商業(yè)標(biāo)價(jià)的參賽作品。
10. 所有參賽送交的作品恕不退還。本次海報(bào)雙年展謝絕評(píng)審及家屬或商業(yè)合作伙伴參賽。

The 4th China International Poster Biennial (CIPB 2009)
The 4th China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) will be held in October, 2009 at the West lake of Hangzhou, China. This exhibition of posters chosen from throughout the world is intended to provide a review of the current state of international poster design of the 21st century.
Since 2003, CIPB have been held successfully for three times. It was attended by designers and social groups from all over the world. CIPB worked as an international communication platform in the area of graphic design and design education. At the same time, it improved the progress of international graphic design.
As a high reputation educational organization of art and design, China Academy of Art devoted great efforts to organize the CIPB in the past 6 years. Nowadays, CIPB has been recognized by Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China as an official cultural communicative project, and become an important item of The West Lake EXPO in Hangzhou. As one of the best exhibitions in the field of international design, CIPB gathers the most excellent graphic designers in the world as the jury committee, for enhancing China’s and global poster design to a higher level.

ENTRY RULES:
1. All posters must be created after June 15th, 2007. All posters must be printed works of offset or silk-screen. Ink-jet or hand drawing works do not qualify.
2. Size of work: no smaller than 36.4cm x 51.5cm (14.3 inches x 20.3 inches) and no larger than 120.0cm x 180.0cm (70.9 inches x 47.3 inches).
3. The participants should be requested to fill in a label in block letters or type-written. A copy of the label must be fixed with adhesive tape to the lower-right corner on the reverse of each poster.
4. Entry forms must be enclosed in a sealed envelope along with the posters. The participants should be requested to fill in an entry form in block letters or type-written. An illegible entry form will cause disqualification of the entry. The personal details given on the form will serve later as valuable information in the CIPB 2009 catalogue. The entry form should be signed by the participant.
5. There is no limit to the amount of entries. One series work will be accounted as one.
6. Each work in duplicate, but mounting is not required.
7. Along with the hard copy, please send document in electronic document recorded on CD-ROM. CDs should be operated on Mac or Windows platform. File Technical Parameters: document size: 21.0cm x 29.7cm, resolution: 350dpi (CMYK images), file type: only TIFF format accepted.
8. The works should be packed in a safe and practical manner to avoid any damage during transport. The organizers do not take responsibility for any damages of works in transport.
9. The posters must be sent as printed matter of a non-commercial value statement. Please do not include the price of your submission on the postal declaration or invoice. The organizers will not undertake any customs clearance.
10. Entries will not be returned. Judges and their family partners and their business partners can not participate in the competition.

All the posters selected by the jury for the competitive exhibition become the property of the organizer. The organizer has the right to photograph and reprint the works for publicity and promotion. One copy of the catalogue published by organizer will be available to each participant at 50% discount.
Each of the participants for the exhibition will receive a certificate from organizer.
