The International Judges Nomination Exhibition
展覽主題 Exhibition Theme:
X代表著未知的世界，
X代表著文化的交錯(cuò)與溝通，
X代表著延伸的無限可能性，
X代表著無解的答案。
在同一時(shí)空內(nèi)，
我們把11位東西方年輕設(shè)計(jì)師的作品統(tǒng)一呈現(xiàn)，
希望能帶來X般的未知的反應(yīng)和回響。
X展的展示形式正如展覽的名字X，
寓意著所有參與到本次展覽中的人們都能夠獲取無窮盡的思想和創(chuàng)意力量，
也為每一個(gè)來參觀展覽的人提供自由行走和思考的空間，
使大家從一個(gè)不可預(yù)料的展覽中預(yù)見到一種可猜想的未來設(shè)計(jì)流向。
“X”它不單單是一個(gè)把東西方的設(shè)計(jì)師、設(shè)計(jì)文化連接起來的符號，
也象征一個(gè)讓所有參與者在一起碰撞出火花，
帶來驚喜與思考的未知領(lǐng)域。
X represents the unknown world, the staggered cultural communication,
the extension of the unlimited possibilities and the answer to the unresolved symbol.
We show 11 east & west designers’ works in the same space simultaneously and hope to bring all of us a “X” feedback and further thinking.
The display forms of X Exhibition wish to imply that all the visitors could absorb endless ideas and creative power through the interactive process.
Ultimately, an unpredictable future of design could be appreciated around the freely walking space.
“X” not only means a symbol to connect east & west designers with the culture behind it,
but also a sign of leading direction to unknown world which is full of surprise and inspiration.
展覽介紹 Exhibition Introduction:
“X展” 是GDC平面設(shè)計(jì)在中國的外圍展，
由平面設(shè)計(jì)在中國07展的5位評委，
由GDC國際評委（美國 Michael Rock、英國 David Ellis、日本新村則人 Norito Shinmura、
中國香港李永銓 Tommy Li、中國大陸陳紹華 Chen Shaohua）
推薦的11位各國年輕設(shè)計(jì)師的作品所組成，
組委會在接受他們做為GDC國際評委身份的同時(shí)，
目光也轉(zhuǎn)向評委身邊嘉許的設(shè)計(jì)師，
希望通過多層面的交流帶給大家多角度的思考。
參展的11位設(shè)計(jì)師代表著設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域不同領(lǐng)域的頂尖發(fā)展趨勢和方向，
參展作品涉及空間，多媒體數(shù)字技術(shù)，裝置，影像，實(shí)驗(yàn)音樂，產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)，海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)，書籍裝楨和動(dòng)畫等.
“X Exhibition” ，hosted by Sense Media Institution，
is one of the branches of GDC serial activities. All the 10 exhibitors are recommended by 2007 GDC international judges
(Michael Rock, David Ellis, Norito Shinmura, Tommy Li, Chen Shaohua).
While accepting them as the status of international judges,
organizers also pay closer attention to the recommended young designers and hope to put forward viewpoints in different aspects through multi-level exchanges.
All the 10 young exhibitors represent leading trends of design in various fields.
The exhibits conclude space; installation; movie; music; graphic design; illustration; book design; cartoon and so on.
